The HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003) certification is tailored for Cloud Engineers with expertise in operations, IT, or development. It’s designed for individuals who possess a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and skills related to HashiCorp Terraform. This certification recognizes the ability to differentiate the functionalities of Terraform Cloud, Terraform Enterprise, and Terraform Community.
I had the opportunity to work with Terraform project since couple of months and taking this certificate validated the skills that I had learnt.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites as per Harshicop is:
- Basic terminal skills
- Basic understanding of on premises and cloud architecture
Exam Details
- Exam is only available through PSI online
- You get 60 minutes to answer 57 questions
- It costs USD $75 plus tax
- Certificate is valid for two years
- Question types:
- Single choice answer
- Multiple choice answers
- Fill in the blanks

How I Prepared for HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003) Exam
- Best way to learn is to build projects using Terraform. My hands-on experience with Terraform at work provided the practical knowledge.

- Exam review
- Although I didn’t complete watching this YouTube video, I did go thorough it at the beginning.
